How do I issue a refund?
Sometimes, for any number of reasons, you may have to issue a refund. We do our best to make this process quick, easy, and intuitive.
Click Sales > Payments in the left-hand navigation menu.
Search by customer, cardholder or amount for the payment you'd like to refund to your client. When you click it, you'll see a pop-up detailing the structure of the payment, i.e. how much of it was deposited in your account, and how much was deducted as a fee. You will have the option to issue a partial refund by adjusting the amount you'd like to refund to your client.
Select a reason for issuing the refund, add any notes you would like to the field provided, and click Refund. Once you have successfully issued the refund, your client will see the funds back on their card in 3-7 business days or in their bank account within 5-10 business days.
Please note that you can only manually issue a refund to your client if the payment was made within the last 90 days. If the payment was made over 90 days ago, please contact Customer Support.
