To turn on automatic payments, take the following steps:

Navigate to Sales > Recurring Invoices and click Create Recurring Invoice.
Enter your invoice details, and choose the Schedule that you'd like your invoices to be generated on.
In the Get Paid section, you will be able to choose between Manual and Automatic Payments. Choose Automatic Payments.

When you select automatic payments for the first time, you will have the opportunity to enter your customer's credit card information. If you have previously saved your customer's credit card information, or if your customer has chosen to save their credit card, you can use the saved card.

If you do not have your customer's credit card information, you will need to start with manual payments. Once your customer views the invoice online, they'll have the option to enter their credit card information and authorize future charges. You will receive an email from Payyit when a customer saves a credit card so you can then switch their recurring invoice over to automatic payments.

How do I turn off bank payments?

| You can turn off or change the availability of bank payments for invoices at any time.

|| Payyit allows you to adjust your settings around bank payments and customize your invoices to your liking. You have three options: you can turn off bank payments for a single invoice, make bank payments a secondary payment option if you prefer credit card payments, or turn off payments globally.

Turning Off Bank Payments for a Single Invoice

To create an invoice for which you would like bank payments turned off, go to Sales > Invoices > Create an Invoice.
Once in the invoice creation process, you will see a box at the top of the page that says Online Payments ON. Click on this box to bring up your payment options.
Use the ON/OFF toggles to determine whether you would like your customer to have the option to pay by bank payment, credit card, both, or neither.

|| Using this method, payments are turned off for a single invoice only. Future invoices generated for this or other customers will have payments enabled if they are turned on.

Enabling Bank Payments as a Secondary Payment Option

If you'd like your customer to have the option to pay using bank payments, but would prefer that they pay by credit card, this is a good way to spotlight your preferred payment method.

Click your business name in the top left corner of your screen. Click Manage your profile in the drop-down menu.
Click Businesses on the left.
Click Add a business.
Fill in the fields under Create a business:

Enter your company name
select a business type and organizational type
fill in your country and primary currency

Click Save business to complete the process.
