# How to set a default business?


| When you create a Payyit account with a business and a personal tab, or with multiple businesses, Payyit will automatically choose which to show when you log in. If you would like to change where Payyit logs you in, you have the option to select a primary/default tab.

1. Click on your business name in the top left corner of your screen. Click **Manage your profile** in the drop-down menu. Then select **Businesses**.

2. From here, you can edit your business information. You will see your **default**, as well as any other businesses you have View or Edit user access to. 

||| You cannot set a View or Edit business as your default. 

3. Beside each business, you will see a star icon or a pen icon. **Select the star** to initiate making that business your default: 

Once you have chosen a default, this is the tab that you will automatically log into with each Payyit session. This can be changed whenever you like.
