# How do I add Payyit to Shopify?

|| Note: You must have a Payyit.Me Lynk set up via Payyit before proceeding.

**Step 1: Set Up Manual Payment Method**

1. **Log in to Shopify and follow the steps below:**

• Go to **Shopify** > **Settings** > **Payments**

• Scroll down to **Manual Payments** and click **Add Manual Payment Method**

• Enter the following details:

• **Name**: Pay with Credit/Debit Card and/or Pay by Bank Transfer

• **Additional Details**:

*After clicking “Complete order,” you will receive instructions to securely make a Credit/Debit card or bank transfer via Payyit.*

• **Payment Instructions:** Leave this field blank

2. **(Optional but Recommended):**

• If you want to **only** accept payments via Payyit, disable or deactivate other payment methods such as Shopify Payments, PayPal Payments, etc.

**Step 2: Add Order Status Page Script**

1. Go to: **Shopify** > **Settings** > **Checkout** > **Additional Scripts**

2. Under “ **Order Status Page,**” add the following script:

3. Important:

• Replace “ **INSERT_PAYYIT.ME_LYNK_HERE**” with your actual Payyit.Me Lynk before saving the script.

• Replace “ **INSERT_CUSTOMER_SUPPORT_EMAIL_HERE** ” with your customer support email address before saving the script.

**Final Steps**

• Test your setup: Place a test order to ensure the instructions and payment link work correctly.

• Verify the checkout flow: Ensure that customers receive proper payment instructions after placing an order.

• Monitor transactions: Regularly check your Payyit dashboard for incoming payments.
